Tilted Pyramid Boulder

These short boulders are directly beside The Almost There Boulder. There is also one fun very easy warm up slab to its right. These two boulders rarely get climbed despite being worthy additions to the area. Josh Dreher climbed these boulders in the mid 2000s. The problems both cater to taller people as the reaches on both starting moves can feel far away if you are shorter.  Tilted Traverse is a fun problem if you can figure out the start. 😉

To access these boulders hike as if you were going to The Almost There Boulder. These boulders sit right beside and are easily identified.

The Tilted Pyramid Boulders

1.) Easy Slab Right? V1***

Stand start and move up the Easy slab not much for hands. Don’t Worry though its a Easy Slab Right?

FA: Josh Dreher  2007

2.) Tilted Traverse V5***

Start on the obivous scrubbed jug hold. Throw a heel and cross through with your hands to a sloper on the arete. Once to the arete proper throw your right hand on the opposite side and bear hug the arete for the last move.

FA: Josh Dreher 2007

3.) Tilted Pyramid V3**

SDS with your right hand on a sloper and your left hand underneath the small overhang. Work up using the arete and go for the last scrubbed sloper which can be a throw for some. Mantle and its over.
