MR HANKY BOULDER
This boulder is along the way to the Thailand boulder and sits a few feet north of it. You will walk right past this boulder on your way to the Thailand boulder. Fun warm up problems and a unique formation.
1.) MR HANKY V2*– Start low and move up using crimps and sidepulls to the top.
2.) SKID MARK V4* Start low on awkward slopers and move on crimps and slopers to a interesting mantle.
THE THAILAND BOULDER
The Thailand boulder is a huge boulder that sits on a rocky ridge that is the obvious way to spot the Playhouse Boulders. To reach this boulder you will need to cross the creek and veer left go around the shoulder of a small hill following the dried up creek bed heading north for about 150-200ft. From here turn right and head east up the hill. Once on top of the hills look to your right (southeast) and you should see it on the ridge. This boulder has potential for some scary highballs. Most of the easier terrain has been climbed. The tall overhanging north face to the left of black west face slab is a project for the future.
THE THAILAND BOULDER SOUTH FACE
The south face of the boulder offers 2 tall warm ups. This problems face the road and can been seen at the parking spot.
1.) TAOS V3*– Follow up the easy low angled arete on the south face. Good warm up nothing to surprising.
2.) TONGA V2**– The original warm up on this block. Follows fun incut crimps the whole way to the top mantle.
